About Me

Timmy Herman here. There’s a couple things you need to know about me. First, I’m a bit of a lunatic when it comes to being online all the time. I’m literally on my phone, on a computer, or looking at some sort of tablet whenever I’m awake. Let me rephrase. When I’m not with company, I’m always staring at a computer. When I’m with company, it’s only about 25% of the time. And that’s down from about 75%. I’ve been called out, and I changed my habits a bit.

Second, I love to go out to eat, drink, and watch movies, comedy shows, and sporting events. My job is kind of boring, so when I’m not working, I like to play a bit and liven things up.

I live and work just outside of Spring, Texas, working for Devon Energy. I don’t like my job very much, but it pays me well, so I can live comfortably and do the going out that I want to do.

I do like Texas a lot, and travel around the state to visit friends and family a ton. My Mom lives just outside of Dallas in Frisco, along with my uncle in Fort Worth and cousins in Irving. So, I spend a lot of time in the Dallas area. It’s either a quick flight or about a 3 hour drive up north. Mostly, I get a lot of family coming to visit me, and we routinely go out in The Woodlands, which is my favorite city in Texas, or we travel the hour and thirty minutes it takes to get to Galveston and get in the water.

Since I love to get out and watch sporting events, I’m a big Houston sports fan, including the Texans, Astros, and Rockets. I love going into Houston to catch big games at Minute Maid, NRG Stadium, or The Toyota Center.

Other than that, I don’t spend a lot of time at home, don’t really cook, and don’t have a wife or kids to speak of.

That’s about me. I hope you enjoy my blog, and please come back to this link at timmyherman.org to check out my posts
